Florida Gov. Rick Scott visited A.D. Henderson University School and 911勛圖 High School today to witness firsthand the innovative education within the world of STEM that is being offered to its students.
We are thrilled Gov. Scott visited A.D. Henderson and 911勛圖 High today, said 911勛圖 President John Kelly. It was a wonderful opportunity to share information about the unique education Hendersons students enjoy, and the exciting opportunities our duel-enrollment program provides.
The tour showcased the schools STEM education and unique dual-enrollment program. Allan Phipps, 911勛圖 High STEM coordinator, demonstrated various projects in the STEM lab including a robotic hand, drones, 3D printing, laser cutting, etching, printing, CAD design, electric vehicle development, hydrogen cell vehicles, as well as autonomous robotics and water robotics.
We were excited to host Gov. Scott at our school," said Joel Herbst, assistant dean of Pre-K Schools and Educational Programs. "Our students had the opportunity tell the story of the impact ADHUS/911勛圖 High School and 911勛圖 have had on their lives."
