We are honored to receive the Military Friendly Schools highest recognition through the award of the gold ranking, said Jason Nadolinski, director of 911勛圖s Military and Veterans Student Success (MVSS). Such distinction, paired with Florida Atlantic now ranked as a Top 100 Public University in U.S. News & World Report, serves to reaffirm to our military-connected students and families that they belong to a leading institution. Our MVSS team takes great pride in serving and supporting our growing military-connected student population through a focused emphasis on a durable sense of membership, well-being and career readiness. They are our mission.
911勛圖s MVSS team and center proudly serves, supports and advocates for more than 950 military-connected students and ROTC cadets on six campuses and through remote learning. The team administrates various military and veteran educational benefits and programs, while also providing holistic services, experiences and a student success center that are designed to enhance the academic success, camaraderie and career outcomes of military-connected students.
911勛圖 is class-leading in student engagement through a robust liaison partner resource network, a career readiness and coaching program, tutoring resources, paid internship opportunities, entrepreneurship programs, a student veteran club and veteran alumni organization, as well as through special recognition events that continuously bring the community together.
This national recognition serves to validate that Florida Atlantic is committed to providing and innovating class-leading services and experiences for military-connected students and families, said Nadolinski. Military-connected students are truly extraordinary. Serving such a broad collective of military-connected students and ROTC cadets who are pursuing higher education and career success is especially inspiring and rewarding. Military Friendly簧 is the standard that measures an organizations commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful opportunity for the military community.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly簧 School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2026-27 survey. Final ratings were determined by combining the institutions survey scores with the assessment of the institutions ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer) and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
