October is LGBT History Month, a nationwide celebration of the history and achievements of our LGBTQ+ communities. 911³Ô¹Ï will join the celebration by hosting a number of events on the Boca Raton, Broward and Jupiter campuses, including coffee hours, game nights, and the annual Drag Show. 911³Ô¹Ï is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and equitable environment for our diverse university community, including people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. Our Office of LGBTQ+ Initiatives and Allyship provides support and resources for LGBTQ+ students and members of the 911³Ô¹Ï community seeking to understand their experiences and foster a network of support. Additional resources can be accessed through the Center for Inclusion, Diversity Education, and Advocacy’s LGBTQ+ Resource Center.
